Guide - How to copy DVDs to hard drive and play them back?

Step1 Copy the DVD movie to your hard drive.

1-1 Install AoA DVD copy on your computer.	http://www.aoadvdcopy.com/download.htm
1-2 Start AoA DVD copy!
1-3 Press the IMPORT button.
1-4 Select your DVD drive.
1-5 Note that the source is the one from the previous step and press Export.
1-6 Select the Hard Drive option.
1-7 Select a suitable location. Dont forget where you put it!
1-8 Press the Output Settings button.
1-9 Uncheck the languages you don't want or need and press OK.
1-10 Time to press Start!
1-11 Relax and watch the progress. Note: this is why that little voice inside your head was telling you to purchase the faster processor when you bought your computer.

You have to admit, that was pretty easy!

Step2 Now we are going to play them back from hard drive with a DVD player software.

PowerDVD WinDVD Windows Media Player

PowerDVD

PowerDVD supports playing your own personal DVD files on your hard disk drive so you can preview it before burning it onto a DVD-writable or CD-writable disc. All you need to do is specify the video source and select the folder that contains your video.

1. Click "Select source" on the user interface and then select "Open DVD File on hard disk drive".

2. Select the folder that contains your video and then click OK when you are done. Your DVD file will begin playback just like any other DVD title.

WinDVD

WinDVD lets you drag the ripped dvd files from your desktop onto the WinDVD Control Panel. Simply drag the folder that contains dvd movies onto the WinDVD icon, or onto the WinDVD Control Panel. WinDVD automatically begins playing the files.

Windows Media Player

Note: If there is no audio when playing back with Windows Media Player, please install the AC3 filter.
